First Meeting of 2012-2013

We have our first meeting of the year tomorrow at Evangelical Covenant Church in New London from 9:30-11:30! We are really excited out the upcoming year! We hope you can make it.

More Events!

It is hard to believe we are over half way through August and a new MOPS year is about to begin. We hope you are looking forward to it as much as the Steering team is. We think we have an exciting year planned and we are ready to Plunge into it. (Our Theme this year is Plunge – Love as if your life depended on it.)

We have some new events coming up this week.  We hope you are able to join us.

Tuesday, August 28 – 5pm-7pm – ECFE Fair at Prairie Meadows in Spicer – Free and tons of great activities for the kids. MOPS will have a table in the gym, so please stop by and say “Hello"

Thursday, August 30 – 10:30am – 12:30pm – Kick Off Picnic at Wildcat Cove in Spicer – Bring your own picnic lunch and a friend who may be interested in joining MOPS.

Upcoming Events

Hello New London/Spicer MOPS Moms. We just wanted to let you know about a few events coming up next week. Hopefully you can make it to one, two or three of them!

* Tuesday, July 24 – 10:30am – Magician at the Spicer Public Library

* Thursday, July 26 – 10:00am – Play date at Games Lake – Bring your suits and your own picnic lunch.

* Saturday, July 28, – 10:30am – New London Water Days Parade – Meet at the High School Parking lot at 10:30am – number 20 in the line up. The parade starts at 11am. If you have a MOPS shirt, please feel free to wear that. Decorate your wagons, strollers, bikes, to let people know about MOPS. We will supply the candy to pass out. You may want to bring a bucket or something to hold the candy we are passing out in. Also, please bring your own water to help you stay hydrated!

A New Year

We are starting our New Year of MOPS on Tuesday, September 13 at 9:30am. We will have a nice brunch for all the Moms, so come hungry. Please plan to come a little early to get your kids settled and get yourself something to eat. We have an exciting year planned and we think it is going to be a fun one, so we hope you will join us.

We had a fun time at our MOPS picnic on August 23. It was a small group that made it to the park, but the kids enjoyed playing and it was a nice day to be outside.

We just wanted to remind everyone about the MOPS Kick Off Picnic Tomorrow (Tuesday, Aug. 23) at Wildcat Cove.

Time: 10:30am - 12:30pm
Bring: Your children, your own picnic lunch, and a friend who may be interested in MOPS this year.
